IZB 2026 programme puts AI simulation alongside new powertrain technologies

The organiser’s October programme highlighted AI in vehicle development and simulation. For filter engineers, a practical question is how a model connects to a measured sample.

The documented technology agenda

In its October 7 programme announcement for IZB 2026, the organiser listed AI-supported vehicle development and simulation among the October 28 topics. The programme also covered new powertrain technologies and circular materials.

This report covers the published agenda. Technical outcomes from those sessions require further source material.

Connecting simulation with filter testing

For a filter project, record the drawing revision, media assumptions, airflow boundary conditions and physical sample together. A change in pleat geometry or sealing can change what needs to be checked.

Buyers can ask which predictions were checked on samples, which test conditions were used and what remains to be verified. That makes an engineering proposal easier to assess alongside a quotation.
